1 to thy only love, on Thu Nov 17, 2011 7:57 am

Come, thou mortal wretch,
With thy sharp teeth this knot intrinsicate
Of life at once untie: poor venomous fool,
Be angry, and dispatch. O, couldst thou speak,
That I might hear thee call great Caesar Ass
Unpolicied!

* Cleopatra, scene ii

as ever before
hence that fateful day
it was early morn
the final darkness
not yet departed
when she sat,
still blanketed with thine smell
a single rose,
only a graphic one
to place in her bouquet
a rose non the less
it was only after four
morning still a birdsong promise
thine taste still on her red lips
it was then
the truth dawned
a truth that fragmented every moment since
the lady still had a heart then
believed thou might be a prince
a gentle one at that

today a De ja Vu
befell this cynical soul
when thy sharp teeth
once again
aimed for the tender flesh
biting,
and tearing through to the soul
wanting once again
to make her fall
for but one simple sin
her sin M' Lord?
she loved thee
then
from that fateful morn
a prince then
one with feet of gold
now M"Lord ?
thou be a mortal wretch,
sharp teethed at that!
be angry
as though has non to blame
standing there
hat in hand as thou say
be it known
even to this
wretch,
all broken and bitter
scavenged as the enemy line
thou be her one true love
the one she would forgive
a thousand more times
Come, thou mortal wretch,
with thy sharp teeth this knot intrinsicate
of life at once untie
for she
is sure to take these here scar
the markings all
befitting thy teeth,
to her grave
in one hand
a broken shredded heart
in another
the memory of thee
for she loved then,
as do now
non the less
the markings in her tender skin
that of only one true love
now no more than
an anchor-less wretch
in his stormy sea

somewhat bitter

heart wrenching

love comes but once in perfection, and some times that perfection is so flawed that it makes you die a little each day!!
