these walls I keep on walking into
placed there for reasons not foretold
build to keep out dragons I assume
if I may be as bold,
once I use to weep
begging to be let in
these gates all locked now
as the no entry sign hangs on the door
once I cried
tried to brake it down
now,…
I just sit and wonder,
thinking
perhaps when no one is around
I will paint a story on my side of this wall
one of dreams and castles
and angels in the sky
in pinks and yellow and a spot of blue
these walls I keep on walking into
placed there for reasons not foretold
build to keep out dragons I assume
if I may be as bold
I don’t weep no more
just dream of colours and skies
and sunshine singing magpies
these wall you build
will become the art in me
